Hidden among the kopjes, lies Tarangire Sopa Lodge, surrounded by ancient baobab trees. It is the home of the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa, and other game including the elusive leopard. Over 400 bird species can be spotted here as well. With water constantly available in the area, the greenery is lush providing a wonderful contrast to the burnt ground.

Our suites are perched high up in the age old Baobab and Marula trees.   Astride the path of the Elephant Migration, Tarangire Treetops sits alone in a private game reserve bordering Tarangire National Park and the Maasai Steppe amid rolling, baobab-studded hills with views to Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley wall.
Tarangire Treetops has a magical, adventurous and exotic feel, appealing to the childlike senses of fun and awe.  The boutique style lodge, exudes a timeless essence, its majestic trees and the landscape, sparking the imagination to times of yore.

Tarangire River Camp set within 25,000 hectares of concession area, the camp is just 3.5 km from the main entrance to Tarangire National Park, accommodating guests in 20 luxury safari tents, which are en-suite with hot and cold running water. The tents are tastefully furnished with all the comforts you will need whilst on safari and open out onto stunning views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Built on top of a high bluff with a breathtaking panorama, our lodge is superbly located in Tarangire National Park, providing one of the best views in Africa. Our tents are spacious, sturdy and comfortable - more like a room with canvas walls than tents of our childhood. Built on a solid base; with a thatched roof, screened windows and en suite stone-walled bathroom, our tents provide all the space and comforts you need. All 35 tents have been recently refurbished, and we now have 4 tents with double beds.
